- Wonders: District reading curriculum, students log in into Wonders to work with the assigned assignment and interactive modules. Here students complete their weekly reading, word work, phonics, some writing and fluency.
- RAZ-KIDS: Student use RAZ-KIDS to listen to books, or read a book and record their reading. This provides fluency and helps students who are inexperienced readers, or struggling to read, and students who are learning English. Listening to read also helps high readers with comprehension as they exceed in their reading levels.
- Journal Writing: I love journal writing because it lets the student think and reflect upon their own experiences against those of others, including authors, teachers, and peers. I also believe that it helps students improve their learning. Students are encouraged to take risks with their thoughts and language and become engaged in the content of their written language.
- 4th Grade Reading: Free printable extra reading, each passages is followed by a short quiz for comprehension. Please do not take the quiz on line because I do not get the results. You are welcome to print and turn in the Reading Quiz. 2nd option is to print the worksheet read and write.
